HangukQuant Github Repo Updates (Getting Access, Using it and Contributions)
I made my first commit 4 days ago:
and since then, every single day, I’ve been working tirelessly to tidy up the code, clean up the logic and document things down so that you can enjoy the quantlib package. If you don’t believe me, check the commit history.
I’ve tidied up alot of the implementation logic and made available a user how-to guide. The user/developer documentation is still begging for more, but the guide here should get you off on your feet in matter of minutes. The README teaches you how to do just that, but for the benefit of all readers, I have attached a png of the document.
For both paid and unpaid readers, read the whole post for details on how to get access/contribute to the post. Just to clarify, if you start seeing less code/posts on here, it means that the code/discussion is migrated to the Github repo - or I am working to bring something to you there. No days off!
For paid readers - you are guaranteed access - use the comment section in the referenced post.
For unpaid readers - we would discretionarily accept requests for repo access. Only requests via email to hangukquant@gmail.com, and acceptance is done conditional on multiple things, including but not limited to programming ability, willingness to learn, experience, features you propose to implement and so on. We will also remove access based on the same conditions, if we think you are no longer a suitable candidate. You can propose your own features to contribute, or get ideas from the discussions ongoing in our quant discord: https://discord.gg/xufTUYdk
Cheers! Hope you have a great week ahead. Moving forward, I am going to continue to work on the documentation, for both users and developers, so that we can scale out this project.
