Our next post will build out some hft-tooling for modelling lead-lag propagation latency for correlated assets, with applications to lead-lag arbitrage, cross-exchange and statistical arbitrage. Typically the former is categorized under ultra low-latency trading and the latter under low-to-mid frequency trading strategies.
